Character:John "Pyro" Allerdyce
Series/Canon:X-Men
From When? X2 soecifically just before he runs off with Magneto
History: Pyro
Personality: John has alsays been a loner. He never really depended on anyone, even though he had parents and a brother. He seemingly came from a happy home, except, John was far from happy. He knew from a very young age that he was different from other kids. He didn't mind it so much, in fact he preferred it that way. John can manipulate fire. He can't create it out of thin air, but once the spark is created he can do some serious damage.
John's motivations for almost everything he does is the need to prove himself, both to himself and others that he was the best. This was never more true then when his powers began to manifest themselves. His family didn't understand, so they sent him away, which only added to the flame of anger that had already begun to manifest itself.
John comes from a world were mutants are feared, not revered, and in his world they sometimes were forced to hide in the shadows. It really goes against what John is proud of who and what he is, and he doesn't really care who knows it. It is not uncommon for him to use his power, he sees no shame in it. That is why he didn't fit in with Professor Xavier, and his school.
John, in his mind doesn't really have a family or friends, because his family refused to accept him for who he was, and the anger that that instilled in him made it difficult to make friends. He hides behind his power, and puts up a tough exterior. His angry is a way for him to avoid relationships, and it is why he can't maintain one.
John's biggest fear is that people will see him as weak, and he does everything in his power to avoid that. His ultimate goal would be to be accepted for who and what he is, but he honestly does not see that happening.
Why do you think your character would work in this setting? Pyro does not like to backed into corners, and he had his back up against a wall and rather than make a decision, he chooses instead to take Eli's offer and come into New Dodge. He is still a mistrusting individual that holds a lot of anger inside of im, so making friends may be an issue, but it might not be impossible.

I'm not sure what the point of all of this is. I suppose it's a way to get my feelings out, or at least that's what they tell me, but seriously what do they really know? They don't know as much as me that is for damn sure. Anyway, you should know that I am gone, and I don't plan on returning to this shit hole again. I would say it's been real, but that would also be a lie. So, have a nice life, and I'll catch you on the flipside.
